Landon was a good sport. He was a bit too young to play Bananagrams and we played a lot of Bananagrams. He endured while the bigger kids played and ultimately participated in his fair share of Pokemon and Monopoly Cards.
Grandma and Grandpa Yarbrough gave the kids some Build-a-Bear spending money for Christmas, so we took a trip to Build-a-Bear workshop while Grandma was here.
Grandma went home the morning of New Year's Eve. My kiddos have been passing a cold around to each other for a few weeks, and I finally caught it. I was feeling pretty lousy on New Year's Eve, so we didn't do anything too exciting. We played with Lego's and watched the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Landon was super excited the whole night. For some reason he was thrilled that it was almost 2012. It was pretty cute. I was the first to bed, and I think the kids went to bed around 11:00.
2011 passed by in a flash! Even Ainsley was commenting at how quickly the year ended. I remember as a kid feeling like the years would always drag on and on, so if my 10 year old is feeling like time is flying it really must be. Happy New Year! Here's to a fantastic 2012!
