Lassen Part IV - Going Home

The last day at Lassen wasn't really a day. We spent the morning cleaning and packing up, took a few pictures, and said goodbye to the great outdoors. Once we got back to my parent's house, we spent one more day in California, and then it was back to Texas. For some reason it was really hard to come back to Texas this year. You'd think that being away from family would get easier over time, but it seems to get harder every year. The silver lining is that I'm happy to have a family I miss rather than a family I can't wait to leave behind. And besides, we're already talking about next summer . . .
