Prom 2019
Ainsley went to prom with a fun group of friends this year. They all met up for pictures and dinner at Panera. After prom, which I was told was "alright", Ainsley and a few of her friends came back to our house and pretty much stayed up all night watching movies and eating ice cream.
Track: Hurdles and Senioritis
Landon completed his first track season in April. His races were the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles. He loved running hurdles and has decided he likes track better than cross country. Although, as of now, he will continue to do both. We only saw his race times for one meet but he felt that by the end of the season he was running better and faster. It will be fun to watch him progress as he continues running.
Once soccer season was over, Ainsley decided to run track. She was fast and ended up qualifying for their district meet. She also happily (senioritis) got to miss a lot of school to go to meets.

Soccer: The Beginning and the End
There were so many girls who decided to play soccer in the 2018-2019 season that Coach Schram decided to build a JV girls soccer team. Kaylee played JV goalie and Ainsley played varsity everything but goalie pretty much. Ainsley was trained as a defender but with the graduation of the varsity team's top scorers last season and the plethora of girls who were capable of defending this season, she ended up being moved from position to position. She didn't mind too much and in the end was the top scorer for the season.
JV tournament
Trophy match against Taylor. They won for the third year in a row.
Ainsley was chosen as the soccer Scholar Athlete in January.
Ainsley's high school soccer career has come to an end and Kaylee's has just begun. Kaylee plans on training hard over the summer and is hoping she will make varsity goalie in the fall. Good luck Kaylee!
And the Winner is . . .
Last summer, Ainsley started the long process of applying for college. She was accepted to the five Universities where she applied, narrowed it down to two in February, and made her decision in March.
Our girl is going to be a Cougar! She'll be moving to Provo, Utah the last week of August and will start her first semester at Brigham Young University on September 3rd. We are so proud of how hard she has worked to make her dream become a reality and are super excited to watch her begin her college journey. Congratulations Ainsley!
