Pedernales Falls

Over Spring Break we took a quick day trip to Pedernales Falls State Park. I have been wanting to go to this park for a long time. Now that we've been, I think it's my favorite Texas State Park that we've visited so far. I can't wait to go back after it's rained a lot sometime to really see the falls. Once we finally got everyone on board for this day trip and out of the house, we had a great time hiking and exploring!

Kaylee is 18!

On February 24th our cute Kaylee turned 18, and our little demon bunny Alice turned 2. It was a busy Thursday, but we found time to celebrate Kaylee (and Alice) that evening with Philly cheesesteaks for dinner, presents, a lottery ticket (because she's legal now) that won her a big fat nothing, and the most chocolatey chocolate cake.

A couple of days later, Kaylee celebrated with her friends. They ate junk food and played games all night. I know I always say this when my kids age but it's truly hard to believe that 18 years have gone by and our adorable Kaylee is officially an adult. She brings so much love and joy to our family. She's just the right amount of sweet and sass, and she's definitely going places. Happy birthday Kaylee Girl!
