Prom

Kaylee finally got to attend prom last night! It was her one and only prom which is a little sad for a girl who loves to get dressed up, but we went all out for this dance with a pretty dress, elegant hairdo, fancy jewelry, funky shoes, and lovely nails. We had a wild experience at the nail salon. It's too long to write about and would take away from the actual event, but I think mentioning it will forever spark enough memories to be able to retell this crazy tale down the road. 

She and Jackson decided to go to dinner the evening before prom, so when he picked her up we took some pictures and they headed off to the dance.  

At the dance there was lots of picture taking with friends. Each photo has a story to tell, but Kaylee says you'll have to ask her about them if you're curious. Kaylee danced until her feet hurt, and after prom they all went to Whataburger (open 24 hours). They stayed out until early in the morning (I tried to stay awake but just couldn't do it) and had an enchanted night.
