Spring Break

Ainsley came home from school yesterday complaining that she was the only one in her class who didn't go somewhere fun for Spring Break last week. We didn't take a vacation but I didn't think Spring Break was that bad. I will admit though, that it did start out a little rocky.

Usually when all three kiddos are together things go pretty well. There are fights here and there as would be expected from any siblings but nothing too terrible. That was not the case this time. I spent the first part of the week refereeing one fight after another. I was pretty much ready to pull my hair out or maybe just take an extended vacation by myself. But instead we went to the Nature Center in Austin, played in the sprinklers, and learned how to use a Knifty Knitter.
Kaylee is making a hat for herself and Ainsley is making a hat for her doll. So there you have it. We didn't go on a family vacation for Spring Break this year but we still had a good time.

Ask Ainsley how many kids in her class got to ditch school for a week in December to go to Disneyland.

Looks like fun to me! I want to come run through the sprinklers and learn how to knit! It's been raining every day here. What I would give for a nice day!!!

I would prefer staying at home anyways....it's always nice to just relax and spend time chilling at home as a family. It sounds like you were all plenty busy though! ;) I LOVE the model pic of Landon; what a cutie!!!

Sounds like a good break to me, too! Cute pictures. That's so cool your girls can use the knifty knitter!
