Geocaching

Definition:  Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.

We've decided to make this our new family pastime.  The kiddos are incredibly excited.   I'm about to have a "Goonies" movie night with them, so they'll understand why I decided to call us "Five Goonies".

 Our First Hunt

I know, we're nerds, but I think we're going to have some great outdoor adventures.

Ha! Too fun. Don't tell Dave, he's all about the nerdy, and maybe he'd make us start playing. We could be the Fratellis to give your kids the full experience. :)

I've wanted to do this...but we don't own a GPS. I can't wait to hear more about your adventures. So fun! :)

Sounds like fun! I need to introduce my kids to the Goonies soon, too.
