This summer Landon really wanted to spend a week with his grandparents in California without the rest of us. It was decided that his request was doable and a flight was scheduled. It just so happened that the girls were headed to girls camp the same week Landon was headed to California which meant that Chris and I ended up with four kid free days.
Landon loved flying as an unaccompanied minor and enjoyed getting spoiled by both sets of grandparents. Grandma Gadd had the opportunity to accompany him to his first Boy Scout summer camp (Grandpa had planned on taking him but was sadly recovering from a horrific bout of pneumonia which resulted in a hospital stay). Grandma and Grandpa Yarbrough took him out one day to celebrate an early birthday. This day included mini golfing, lots of delicious food, and a trip to a toy store. He also spent an afternoon at Dave and Busters with Uncle John. The girls had a nice time at girls camp, and Chris and I spent some of our four days adventuring. It was a fun week for all of us!
