Every year Chris climbs up onto our roof and attaches Christmas lights to the house. This year, Landon deemed himself old enough to climb up with Chris and help with the decorating. I will admit, it made me a little nervous to have Landon up there, but all was well in the end. And yes, it was actually shorts weather the day they put up the lights. Grandma and Grandpa Gadd flew out a few days before Christmas and stayed long enough to see the girls play in a couple of soccer games. Grandma Yarbrough joined us a few days after Grandma and Grandpa Gadd left. We had a house full of guests most of Christmas break, which we love.
For my dad's birthday, John gave him two tickets to see Mannheim Steamroller at Austin City Limits while he was visiting us. Landon was the lucky recipient of the second ticket. They enjoyed a fun night of yummy pizza and great music.
Christmas break flew by, and the kids were sadly back to school in a flash. Ainsley is finishing her very last semester of high school and is barely surviving. Senioritis has officially kicked in.
