California 2009 - Part VIII

Lawrence Hall of Science and
Chabot Space and Science Center

These were two museums that our ACM membership admitted us into for free. We went to the Lawrence Hall of Science while Chris was still in California, and my dad and I took the kids to the Chabot Space and Science Center one day while my mom took a break.

There was so much to do at the Lawrence Hall of Science. From The Slime Game to dung beetle races and from the earthquake simulator to soil erosion, there was something for everyone. The kids and the adults all had a ton of fun.

The Chabot Space and Science Center was another fun place. Our entrance into the museum included a planetarium show and lots of astronaut training. My kiddos really enjoy going to museums, which is great because I do too!

I guess I've been missing out on a lot. This place looks like it's fun too! I remember always seeing the signs. I don't think I take advantage of where I live sometimes. I get so wrapped up in the day to day stuff that I forget to go explore.

What fun. I'll have to consult your blog next time we're in CA. We can never think of what to do!
