Uncle Kerry and Aunt Yoko
Last February Chris' brother Kerry got married. We weren't able to attend the wedding because he and Yoko decided to get married pretty quickly. My kids knew they finally had an aunt, but they'd never met her. While we were in California this summer they were able to meet her for the first time. Chris' mom invited all of us over to their house, and we had an unbirthday party for everyone in the family. She'd decided that since we're never all together on birthdays we'd celebrate while we could (sadly Uncle Kevin wasn't able to come). For the longest time my kids have asked why they don't have any aunts, but I think they'll agree it was worth the wait. They all think Aunt Yoko is awesome!

Such fun to get to know new family members! Everytime we see family, we meet someone new it seems!
