Jelly Belly Factory
As is our yearly tradition, we went on a tour of the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield. This was something Chris wanted to do while he was still in California, so we made sure to go before he had to head back to Texas. The factory runs tours every 15 minutes or so, and you get little bags of Jelly Bellies at the end of the tour which spits you out into their gift shop full of all kinds of yummy treats. This time their chocolate making section was open, and Landon decided he wanted a $15.00 chocolate puppy, hahaha. Much to his dismay we didn't buy the enormous chocolate puppy, but he got over it pretty quickly.

After our tour and purchasing of Jelly Bellies we headed to my grandma's house. Bringing her jelly beans to put in her candy jar that sits on her organ has become our tradition too. She's collected Beanie Babies over the years and has started giving them to her great grandchildren. For the past three years or so whenever we go to her house she lays out her Beanie Babies and lets the kids pick one out to take home. They love it!

I never thought of it but you're right you probably did make it into someone's blog as some random stranger in the background. Your kids make it into our blog but then I'm not a random strange so I guess that's ok.
As you know I can eat red apple jelly bellies until I feel sick and I'm normally not even a candy eater. Unfortunately I found this year the newly created Sunkist lemon may also hold addictive powers. Even though I should stay clear of these habit forming substances I love my grandchildren too much to deprive them of this yearly adventure. I admit it, I look forward to the Jelly Belly factory myself.
Mmmm, Belly Flops!
